Holiday hiring season is prime time for scammers looking to lure job seekers with fake opportunities. Many fraudulent offers promise immediate employment with little or no interview process. Scammers may even impersonate well-known retailers to create excitement and pressure you into acting before you think.
These fake job offers are often designed to steal personal information that can lead to identity theft. Never share any information until you've fully researched the company and verified the job is legitimate.
