Both sellers and buyers have found themself victims and usually with higher dollar sales ranging from expensive designer shoes to motorcycles.
You can protect yourself by always meeting in safe, busy areas with surveillance.
Most police stations are set up as safe zones and allow their lobbies to be used for transactions.
Always avoid inviting strangers to your home or going into theirs.
And if possible, bring a friend for added safety.
