Bears will be without Montez Sweat against the Cardinals

(670 The Score) Bears star pass rusher Montez Sweat (shin) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Sweat left last Sunday's loss at Washington with the shin injury. He sat out from Friday's walkthrough in order to rest the injury, though he wasn't deemed able to play prior to kickoff at State Farm Stadium.

A Pro Bowl selection in 2023, Sweat has 3.5 sacks this season.

The Bears' inactives also include nickel cornerback Kyler Gordon (hamstring), safety Jaquan Brisker (concussion), left tackle Braxton Jones (knee), tackle Kiran Amegadjie (calf), running back Khalil Herbert and defensive tackle Byron Cowart.

Kickoff between the Bears (4-3) and Cardinals (4-4) comes at 3:05 p.m. CT Sunday from Arizona.
