
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- In honor of National Dog Day, the Chicago Bears have launched a new pet program.
Bears Paws, in partnership with Paradise 4 Paws|Pooch Hotel, offers Bears fans an opportunity to connect their furry family members with their favorite team through unique gear, experiences, and information dedicated to pet parents.

According to the Chicago Bears, fans who sign up for the program will receive access to quarterly newsletters, dog-related content, and exclusive partner offers and promotions, in addition to information about how the Chicagoland rescue community is improving the lives of dogs and dog-lovers alike.
“We know that being a Bears fan has always been a family affair, and for many fans, that family includes a pet,” said Chicago Bears Director of Brand Marketing Insights & Strategy Laura Condella, in a statement. “Particularly after a year when we saw pet adoptions increase dramatically in Chicago, we are so excited to kick off the Bears Paws program and give fans a new way to engage with the team that includes the WHOLE family. The program will kick off with a sweepstakes from Aug. 26-31. Sweepstakes prizes include a weekend getaway or seven days of daycare for the winning dog from Paradise 4 Paws|Pooch Hotel, personalized Bears fan and dog gift package, and a one-year All-Pro Premium Membership.
