LAKE FOREST (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Like a pass leaving Caleb Williams’ hand, tickets for upcoming Bears training camp practices were gone in a blink of an eye.

After opening the free public sale this morning at 10 a.m., the team announced 45 minutes later that they had sold out. They did note, however, that additional tickets could be released on a later date.

The tickets were for nine training camp practice days at the Bears’ Halas Hall headquarters in Lake Forest.

It’s the fourth season in a row that the Bears have held training camp at their team facility, the third straight year it's been partially open to the public.

The Bears previously trained at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais.

This ticket blitz is yet another indication how much buzz there is for this upcoming Bears season.

With the franchise playing in this year’s Aug. 1 Hall of Fame Game, Bears will start training camp earlier than usual. Rookies will report one week from today, July 16, with veterans coming in on July 19.

The first practice open to the public is Friday, July 26.
