A month after their dog disappeared in north suburban Glenview, a couple is getting help from dozens of volunteers.
Oli was staying with a long-time friend while his owners Peter Finn and Deborah Lynn were out of town.
Finn says the sitter told them the 4-year-old Maltese-Pomeranian mix disappeared from her backyard the morning of May 26, but she stopped communicating with them two days later.
Finn says they have only had one confirmed sighting of Oli since then.
It was a picture that was shared that same morning and then deleted on a Ring doorbell neighborhood chat, he says.
Flyers are posted on stop signs, in Glenview parks and near where the dog was last seen, at Central and Warren Roads.
Animal lovers have shared several potential leads to a Facebook group devoted to finding Oli that has more than 1,500 members, including some from as far away as Germany.
Finn and Lynn think someone may have Oli and are offering a $3,000 reward for his safe return, no questions asked.
He’s five pounds with short white hair, pointy ears and a pink nose.

The couple has postponed their return to Los Angeles, where they work as models, while the search continues.
