MERRILLVILLE, IND. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A toddler has died after a shooting in Merrillville, Indiana Monday night.
Police said they responded to a shooting at a home on 79th Place at around 5:45 p.m. and found a three-year-old boy had been wounded. Paramedics tended to the boy before taking him to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
He is being remembered as a bright little boy who was always happy. Police have not released more information at this point.
