
BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) --High School District 214 officials have closed Buffalo Grove High School for the day after a fire in a single room, according to the Village of Buffalo Grove.
Buffalo Grove firefighters responded to Buffalo Grove High School for the report of a fire alarm Tuesday at 7:45 p.m. Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke coming from a room. A small fire was found and quickly extinguished.
No injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Buffalo Grove Fire Department. Arlington Heights Fire Department also responded to the alarm.
The school will be closed for Wednesday, May 17, with further information coming to Buffalo Grove High School families before noon on Wednesday.
