(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Charges have been announced after a man was beaten along the Magnificent Mile and later died of his injuries over the summer.
Henry Graham, 48, of Evanston is charged with murder, Chicago police said. He allegedly battered 53-year-old Russell Long on June 29 in the 600 block of North Michigan Avenue. The attack occurred around 3:45 p.m., officials said.
Long died July 12 of traumatic brain injuries, and the medical examiner’s office ruled his death a homicide, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Graham was arrested Monday in Little Village, police said. He was expected in court Wednesday.
