(WBBM NEWSRADIO) – A 63-year-old Chicago man has been charged in the strangulation killing of a medical worker whose body was found in a garage.
Lawrence Curtis Boyle was charged with first-degree murder, according to Chicago police, who say he strangled Sierra Jamison on Monday evening in the 7800 block of South Indiana Avenue. Jamison’s mother reportedly found her daughter’s body.
The garage was part of the property being rented by Jamison, a phlebotomist and mother of a 6-year-old boy, family members told CBS Chicago. Jamison was expected to start nursing school.
Boyle, the man charged in her death, also lived in the 7800 block of South Indiana, police said. He was expected to be in court Friday.
