CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — A Tinley Park man said it was impressive but not amusing about someone who put a couch on the roof of his home.

It was no small feat getting the couch up there. It was heavy with a hide a bed that was pulled out.

Chuck Augustyniak noticed it while out walking his dog and figured it took a few strong kids to get it up there.

Augustyniak is the father of a senior at Andrew High School. He told the Daily Southtown he's heard of two other families, also with high school seniors, who also found couches on their roofs.

He said he figures it was a high school prank, a little more elaborate than a few rolls of toilet paper in the trees.

Augustyniak paid a roofing company $300 to get it down and he's not amused. He said someone could really get hurt and this kind of thing has to stop.
