(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — The Chicago Bears are hosting the Miami Dolphins this week at training camp for joint practices as a prelude to their preseason matchup on Saturday Aug. 14.
Looking promising already is Chicago running back David Montgomery, say WBBM Newsradio’s Jeff Joniak and Tom Thayer. They are monitoring training camp from Halas Hall in Lake Forest.
“He’s got the breakaway. He’s got the toughness that we knew. He’s got that contact balance,” Joniak said.
Thayer agrees Montgomery is impressive, and hopefully the Bears’ offensive line will create opportunities for him.
The Bears-Dolphins preseason game is noon at Soldier Field; it will air on WBBM Newsradio.
