(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Chicago firefighters freed a Water Department worker who became stuck in a hole Wednesday afternoon in South Shore.
The woman was helping with a water main project near 67th and East End Avenue when the incident occurred.
The hole began filling with water, so fire department teams used a vacuum and other tools to clear the hole and help her climb out.
The employee reportedly was in good condition.
