(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — There's been a breakthrough in a deadly home invasion that happened on Chicago's Far South Side two years ago.
Arteria Riley, 81, and her two adult children – a 64-year-old daughter and 61-year-old son – were killed inside their Morgan Park home in April of 2022.
Now, a Chicago man has been arrested and charged with their murders.
On Friday, Zavier Griffin, 21, was taken into custody in Pinckneyville, about 300 miles southwest of Chicago.
It's still not clear if Griffin knew the victims.
He's scheduled to make his first court appearance on Saturday.
