CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - If you aren't going to run the marathon, maybe you can help those who are.

The 44th running of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon is Sunday, October 9 and organizers are looking for volunteers, with a critical need at the Abbott Health & Fitness Expo on Thursday, October 6 in the evening and Saturday, and on October 8 in the evening to help prepare participant packets.

The marathon also needs race day volunteers for the start corrals, information team, course marshals and the post-race party for all those runners who ran 26.2 miles and the volunteers who helped them.
All marathon volunteers have to register online by this Friday night.

Remember our sister station, 670 The Score, will provide complete live radio coverage of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon on race day from 6 a.m. – 10 a.m. featuring WBBM's own Josh Liss.
