CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Chicago police are working to identify the individuals suspected of committing multiple burglaries targeting businesses on the West Side.
Police said the burglaries happened several times between July 17 – 25.
Each time, officials said a group of up to seven burglars picked the business' security gate locking mechanism and broke through a front window or door to get in.
The offenders then stole money from the cash register and either took the ATM — or pried it open before taking cash from inside
Surveillance video, included below, shows the most recent burglary, which took place Thursday. It shows the individuals carrying out an ATM and loading it into a blue pickup truck.
Police said the group wears hoodies, face masks and gloves during each incident.
