(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Trevian Kutti is a Chicago-based publicist who previously worked with artists Kanye West and R. Kelly. She’s also one of 19 people named in an indictment alleging they schemed to overturn former president Donald Trump’s 2020 election loss.

Prosecutors said Kutti traveled from Chicago to Atlanta in an effort to pressure an election worker to report fraud claims and testimony.

The charges claim Kutti visited election worker Ruby Freeman and said she was sent by a “high profile individual.” Kutti then allegedly threatened Freeman and said she would be arrested if she didn’t comply.

Kutti, along with Trump and 17 others, have two weeks to surrender, as the Fulton County District Attorney plans to try all 19 defendants together.

Other defendants include former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows; Trump attorney and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani; and a Trump administration Justice Department official, Jeffrey Clark, who aided the then-president's efforts to undo his election loss in Georgia. Other lawyers who advanced legally dubious ideas to overturn the results, including John Eastman, Sidney Powell and Kenneth Chesebro, were also charged.

The Fulton County indictment came only two weeks after the Justice Department special counsel charged Trump in a vast conspiracy to overturn the election.
