CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- It’s been a full year since the first COVID-19 vaccines were administered in Chicago, and nearly 1.9 million Chicagoans have received at least one dose of the vaccine, with more than 67 percent of eligible Chicagoans are fully vaccinated.
As the holidays quickly approach, the Chicago Department of Public Health said now is the time to either get a COVID-19 vaccine and booster. CDPH now offers COVID-19 booster doses for all Chicagoans age 16 and up through Protect Chicago At Home and at all CDPH-sponsored clinics and events, including CDPH standing immunization clinics, mobile CareVan, family vaccination clinics at City Colleges, and pop-up community events.
