(WBBM NEWSRADIO) —Some Chicago Public Schools students will have their artwork displayed on a very big canvas beginning later this week: a 2 1/2-acre surface on the side of the Merchandise Mart.

Seven CPS seniors will have their art digitally projected as part of the ongoing “Art on the Mart” exhibit.

The student showcase, which begins Thursday evening, is called “Hope is a Light: Select Works from the Chicago Public School Class of 2021.”

The students’ artwork will be shown every night at 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

It runs through June 26.
