(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Fairies have taken over Chicago’s Garfield Park Conservatory.
A new outdoor exhibit at the West Side greenhouse features more than 15 fairy houses scattered throughout the Artist’s Garden. Sunflowers, nasturtiums and other stunning flowers are joined by enchanting ‘Fairy Queen’ Salvia, ‘Dreamland Pink’ Zinnia and ‘Spellbound White Blush’ Petunia.
The magical designs encourage visitors to look at nature in a new way. It’s hard not to believe in fairies after you step foot in the garden.
Reservations are required and admission is $5 for adults. Anyone under the age of 18, Garfield Park residents and Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance members enter for free.
The conservatory is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
