(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — On a recent episode of his podcast “New Heights,” Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce — who, as you may have heard, is dating Taylor Swift — expressed his desire to skate in a practice with the Chicago Blackhawks.
Said the two-time Super Bowl champion: “I want to do it now. I want to hit up the Blackhawks and get in net or something.”
On the podcast episode, Kelce referenced a fellow tight end — Rob Gronkowski — who’s skated with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Although Kelce mispronounced the name of Blackhawks star rookie Connor Bedard, whom he called “Connor Ben-dard,” he said he loves watching the 18-year-old play hockey.
The Blackhawks responded to Kelce on social media saying: "Our home is your home".
Earlier this month, fans found a tweet from 2014 in which Kelce said he's a Blackhawks fan. There’s been no word on whether Swift would join Kelce on the ice.
