A family-owned restaurant is reopening in Waucanda to keep their fathers memory alive.

If you've been missing your favorite burrito from Raul's in Wakanda, you're in luck. The children of a man gunned down in an infamous McHenry crime, almost 21 years ago, are opening the original rolls burrito express in the same location.

The late Raul Briseno Sr., who came to the U.S. from Mexico in 1987 at about 21 years old with $100 in his pocket, opened his Mexican restaurant back in 1993.

His son told the Northwest Herald, opening this restaurant means keeping my father alive and keeping his memory alive. They hope to open in April.
