Cindy Morgan, actress best-known for role in 'Caddyshack,' found dead at 69

(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Cindy Morgan, the Chicago-born actress who was perhaps best known for her role in “Caddyshack,” has died at the age of 69.

Morgan grew up in Chicago, and she was very much a Prairie State girl, as she attended Northern Illinois University and worked media jobs in Rockford and Chicago before she made it in Hollywood.

In the 1980 sports comedy “Caddyshack,” Morgan played the blonde bombshell Lacey Underall alongside fellow Chicago actor Bill Murrary.

It's not exactly known when Morgan died. Her roommate had been away and last saw Morgan on Dec. 19, 2023. Her body was eventually discovered on Dec. 30, 2023.

Florida officials said her death was from natural causes.
