(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Just in time for the holidays, a popular fashion and accessory chain is teaming up with a retail giant.
For more than 50 years, Claire’s has been a one-stop shop for ear piercing, jewelry and accessories for teens and just about anyone.
Now the Hoffman Estates-based company is expanding by opening more than 20 shops inside existing Macy's stores across the country, including the Macy's at Oakbrook Center.
Claire's is touting the "store within store" locations as a way to diversify its retail footprint and meet customers where they live and shop. Macy’s execs say the partnership will expand their jewelry and accessories offerings.
