Hey Chicago, we are about a week away from Christmas, and I've got the perfect drink to help you celebrate all the joys this season brings!
This week's Cocktail of the Week is called Silver and Gold. It's a gin and prosecco cocktail that has been brought to us by our friends at Misfit Christmas, a holiday pop-up at The Rambler Kitchen and Tap in North Center. It was created by the owner Sam Stone.

“Our pop-up is dedicated to recalling old memories and honoring a classic from our childhoods. Just as the holiday season sparkles, we wanted to have a cocktail on the menu with some bubbles so we created the Silver and Gold, a gin-based cocktail with white cranberry juice that is topped with Mionetto Prosecco.”
A tribute to the 1964 beloved classic Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer television special and the Island of Misfit Toys, The Rambler Kitchen + Tap, located in Chicago's North Center neighborhood, is hosting a “Misfit Christmas” pop-up this holiday season!
Along The Rambler on Lincoln Avenue, guests will be greeted with an outdoor scene featuring 10-foot custom-painted wood characters from the film made by local Chicago artist Reaghan Murphy. Inside, each room will be inspired by a different scene with Christmas lights, Misfit Toy figurines, and staff dressed as characters throughout.

Misfit Christmas also offers festive cocktails from $10 to $14, including Yukon’s Old Fashioned; Silver and Gold; the Yule Mule; a Bumble-tini; and many more. Hot drinks will also be available like Hermey’s Hot Chocolate and an Old Country Toddy.
Plus, there will be a themed food menu, featuring sweets like warm baked Snickerdoodle Pretzels; Reindeer Food with rice cereal, chocolate, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and red and green M&M’s; Sam the Snowman shaped powdered sugar donuts, and more. Savory dishes will include a Toy Taker Turkey Sandwich and an Open Faced Chicken Pot Pie on two buttermilk biscuits.
The Misfit Christmas pop-up at The Rambler Kitchen + Tap, located at 4128 N. Lincoln Ave., is open now through Sunday, Jan. 2.
Misfit Christmas's Silver and Gold cocktail recipe calls for NOLET’S Silver Gin, Mionetto Prosecco, and white cranberry juice, plus frozen cranberries and a rosemary sprig for garnish.

Silver and Gold Recipe:
Serves 1
Ingredients
• 1.5 ounces of NOLET’S Silver Gin
• 2 ounces of white cranberry juice
• Mionetto Prosecco
• Frozen cranberries for garnish
• Rosemary sprig for garnish
Directions
Step 1. Fill a rocks glass with ice.
Step 2. Pour in NOLET’S Silver Gin and white cranberry juice and stir.
Step 3. Top with Mionetto Prosecco.
Step 4. Garnish with frozen cranberries and a sprig of rosemary.
