Cook County couples have a new space to say “I do.”
Love is back in the air at the county building’s Marriage Court. It was closed in late October for repairs, during which couples tied the knot at the Daley Center instead.
But Tuesday, the marriage court reopens with a fresh look: everything from new paint and lighting to flooring and multilingual, ADA compliant signs.
Officials say the renovations make the space more inviting and comfortable for couples, who can stop by Tuesdays through Fridays from 9am to noon and 2pm to 4pm.
