(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — The Civilian Office of Police Accountability is investigating an overnight shooting that involved a Chicago Police officer.
Around 3:45 Saturday morning, a 25-year-old man was standing on a sidewalk near the 100 block of West Polk Street in the Printers Row neighborhood when 2 unknown people approached him.
When a 25-year-old woman, who is an off-duty police officer, approached in a vehicle, one of the unknown people fired shots at her.
She returned fire, and the suspects fled.
No injuries have been reported.
