20-year-old man accused of injuring, robbing 81-year-old in the Loop

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — A 20-year-old South Side man was arrested in the Loop Tuesday after allegedly injuring and robbing an elderly man.

The 81-year-old man was walking along State Street just before 6 p.m. when police said he was pushed to the pavement and robbed.Authorities said they caught Tarrese Dunmore almost immediately, near State and Madison Streets.

Dunmore, who lives on the 7300 block of South Stony Island, is charged with one felony count of robbery and one felony count of aggravated battery to a victim over 60-years-old.
