CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Another woman has been sexually assaulted in a Northwest Side neighborhood that’s already on edge over similar crimes.
Chicago Police said a 23-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in a car near Palmer and Kedzie in Logan Square Sunday at around 2 a.m. This is the fourth such assault so far this year in the neighborhood.
Block Club reported the woman was attacked by a man she met at a bar who then followed her to a second bar, where a police report said he continuously bought her drinks.
The news site said this man, described as about 40-year-old with short hair, is not the same knife-wielding person wanted for three assaults in February and January.
No one is in custody as Area Five detectives investigate.
