CPD looking for driver involved in Marquette Park deadly hit-and-run

(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Chicago police are searching for the driver of a sedan involved in a deadly hit-and-run earlier this week.

Police say on Wednesday, a 54-year-old woman was crossing Western Avenue in the Marquette Park neighborhood, when she was hit by a dark colored, four door sedan.

The incident happened around 6 p.m. near Marquette Road. The driver fled the scene in the car, according to police.

The woman died from her injuries.

Police have now released photos of the car in hope of locating its driver.
