CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Four people were sent to the hospital Monday night after they were hit by a stolen car in Brighton Park on the Southwest Side.
Chicago police said officers were trying to stop a stolen black Dodge Durango when it backed up into a squad car and then drove off, hitting two other cars and four pedestrians in the process. It happened at around 11:30 p.m., in an alley near 46th and Western.
Police said three women were taken to the hospital in good condition, an 8-year-old girl was treated at the scene, while an officer suffered a minor foot injury during the incident and was also hospitalized.
Police have one suspect in custody.
