CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Detectives continue to investigate after a man was found overnight shot dead inside a car on the South Side.
Officers reported to the scene near 57th Street and Michigan Avenue in Washington Park, a little after 3 a.m., and discovered a man inside a white SUV with a gunshot wound to head. He later died at University of Chicago Hospital, police said.
Responding officers observed two bullet holes on the SUV’s windshield.
No one is in custody. Area One Detectives are handling the case.
