CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Chicago Public Schools has sent out new dates for its high school admission test, after a glitch halted test taking last week.
CPS announced eighth graders in CPS can retake the test Oct. 24 and Oct. 25 and Nov. 1 for languages other than English.
Non-CPS students can take the test the following weekend.
CPS reminds non-CPS families that they need to register for a new testing date by 9 a.m. Monday.
The district apologized for the error that halted test taking last week and assured families that it's working with the testing vendor Riverside Assessments to review technical problems and resolve them.
