The Chicago Transit Authority announced track work and services changes will be taking place over the next two weekends.
From 10 p.m. Friday, November 6th until 4 a.m. Monday, November 9th, shuttle buses will replace trains between Jefferson Park and Harlem. The service disruption happens again the following weekend, November 13th through the 16th.
Officials say the change could effect more than the overnight trains. Travelers should allow for extra travel time.
The alert applies to Harlem on the O'Hare branch, which is the line that goes directly to the airport. It does not effect the Harlem station on the Forest Park line.
So, flyers, be sure to check for updates before heading out, especially those red eyes and late-night flights.
