CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Chicago Police Supt. David Brown now has a month to decide whether to bring administrative charges against two officers involved in the shooting of an unarmed man in a CTA Red Line station in February.

The Civilian Office of Police Accountability has sent its recommendations to the police superintendent, but those haven't been made public.

It was late February when two officers tried to arrest a man who was crossing between L cars.

Eyewitnesses recorded videos showing the officers trying to bring the man under control at a Red Line station.

"Give me your hands," police told him.

And he said, "I didn't do nothing to you."

Minutes later, police shot him twice. He survived and he's suing the city.

The two officers have already been relieved of their police powers.

Now, the superintendent will decide what else the officers may face.
