CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) --The Dense Fog Advisory in the Chicago area has been extended until midnight for areas near Lake Michigan, according to the National Weather Service.
The National Weather Service advises drivers to be cautious and use low beams, slow down, and leave plenty of distance ahead.
The Dense Fog advisory applies to Lake County, northern Cook and central Cook Counties and Lake and Porter Counties in Indiana.
Chicagoland residents can expect another round of rain Saturday night as well. Additional chances of precipitation are expected for Monday night into Tuesday with temperatures in the upper 30's to lower 40's.
