CHICAGO(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Democratic National Convention organizers have announced their official headquarters in Chicago this summer.
The DNC takes place from August 19-22.
Throughout the week, the Marriott Marquis and the Hyatt Regency at the McCormick Place complex will serve as the headquarters- where daytime party business happens, as well as downtown hotels for delegates.
It will also be the home base for the Biden campaign, the Democratic National Convention Committee, media, and leaders from various groups.
Evening sessions with delegates and speakers at the convention will take place at the United Center.
Axios reports that Larita Clark, CEO of the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority, the owner of the Marriott Marquis Chicago, Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, and McCormick Place Convention Center said: "With our 23 union partners and nearly 3,000 campus employees, we welcome the DNC to McCormick Place. We look forward to creating a spectacular event."
