DOLTON (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Another meeting of the village board in Dolton took a chaotic turn.

Most of the meeting was calm. There were a few complaints from the public about taxes, village finances and Mayor Tiffany Henyard.

Firefighters griped about stalled contract talks, unpaid health insurance and missing pension funds. They’ve gone five years without a contract.

Then, an activist, Jedidiah Brown, confronted Trustee Andrew Holmes over allegations of sexual assault, claims that Holmes has denied.

“Did you rape that woman?” Brown asked. “Did you put something in her drink? And, dammit, you’re going to answer, and you’re going to answer me, [I] promise you.”

Holmes and Brown approached one another. Police had to hold Brown back.
