The pre-dawn death of a 28-year-old Downers Grove man found on a West Side street is being investigated as a homicide, police said.
The victim, who name hasn’t been released by the Cook County medical examiner’s office, was found about 2:10 a.m. in the 5500 block of West Flournoy Street, police said.
He did suffer injuries, apparently to his head and body, but it was not clear what caused them, according to a source. An autopsy is scheduled.
The 28-year-old was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Area 4 detectives are investigating.
