DOWNERS GROVE (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Police in Downers Grove are investigating after a swastika was discovered at an elementary school.
The swastika was carved into a piece of playground equipment at Lester Elementary School on the 200 block of Indianapolis Avenue. It was discovered by a teacher, according to Patch.
The Downers Grove police blotter listed the incident as criminal damage to property.
There has been a rise in similar incidents since the conflict started between Israel and Hamas.
