Driver fatally shot in West Rogers Park: CPD

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A man was shot to death early Thursday morning on the city’s Far North Side.

Police said the shooting happened in the West Rogers Park neighborhood around 12:30 a.m.

A man in his late 20s was driving in the 2600 of West Glenlake when a gunman walked up to the vehicle and fired repeatedly at him.

The victim was hit more than once in his body, and his car kept going until it crashed into another vehicle and stopped.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said two guns were found inside the victim’s vehicle. No one has been arrested.
