(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Chicago police are investigating a fire last night in Englewood on the South Side as an arson.

It was shortly before midnight when police say two male burglars broke into a business near West 59th Street and South Ashland Avenue using bolt cutters. They then tried to break into a safe, but were not able to, police say.

The suspects then set the building on fire using some kind of accelerant. It appears to be a plumbing supply store.

No one was injured and police are looking for those responsible.
