CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO)-- The Englewood organization “Kidz Korna” managed to fulfill its mission of giving Christmas gifts to the less fortunate after a major setback.

The organization’s “Forty Block Giveaway Tour” appeared to have been threatened when founder Delece Williams reported that a shipping container stuffed with toys, clothes, computers and other donated gifts was hauled off a lot in the Englewood neighborhood.

Some questioned the theft story, because after the container was reported stolen, it was found in Chicago Heights. Much of the things in there were said to be gone.

Williams said he was sorry and said he’d replace what was missing, so she declined to press charges.

The organization delivered gifts in Chicago, Waukegan, Gary, Kankakee and Broadview, among other places.
