(WBBM NEWSRADIO) –The FBI is offering reward money for information about suspects believed to have robbed multiple banks in the south and west suburbs.

Federal authorities are offering up to $20,000 for information leading to the suspects who are known as the "Bundled Bandits.”

They're wanted for allegedly robbing BMO Harris bank branches in Matteson, Frankfort, Bolingbrook, Naperville, Addison throughout June and July.

Most recently, on Friday, the suspects were involved in an attempted robbery in Woodridge.

They reportedly directed a guard to unlock the door to the bank.
A loud bang was heard, and it's believed that the door was impacted in some way.

The suspects did not enter the bank but later fled.

Tips can be reported to tips.fbi.gov or 1-800-CALL-FBI.
