(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — An Elmhurst bank was robbed at gunpoint this week and the FBI is currently looking for the suspect who is wanted for other bank robberies.

On Thursday, police responded to a bank robbery at the US Bank located at York and Vallette streets around 3 p.m.

The suspect demanded money and displayed a gray handgun. No injuries were reported.

The FBI also suspects the man is involved in the robberies of three other US Bank locations in Elmhurst and Schaumburg. Those robberies occurred in October, December and in March.

The suspect is described as being in his 30s, about 6 feet tall, a medium build, and black hair with blonde on the left side. During the robbery on Thursday, he was wearing a black and white face mask, black zip-up jacket, a baseball hat, jeans, and a dark colored Under Armour backpack.

Officials did not say if any money was stolen and no additional information is available at this time.

Anyone with information about the suspect can report tips to  312-421-6700 and tips.fbi.gov. Tips can be reported anonymously.

More information about the incident will be posted on the FBI’s website.
