(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — If you're already looking for fun family things to do for the holidays, a festive light show might be the perfect fit for you.
The Amaze Light Festival is billed by its organizers as the largest light show in the country. It's returning to the Chicago area next month — this time, in Tinley Park, where it will triple in size and cover a 400,000-square-foot venue.
Festival goers will be treated to five themed displays, including the North Pole, Land of Sweets and a Whimsical Forest. That's in addition to a "mega light show" every 30 minutes.
Tickets are on sale now online. The festival will run from mid-November through the first week of January.
The light show makes it debut in New York at Citi Field.
