CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — A shooting on Chicago's South Side left three people dead early Sunday morning, police said.
Chicago police said it happened shortly before 2:20a.m. Three people were walking near 76th Street and Eberhart Avenue in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood when they got into an argument with two unknown suspects.
The suspects got into a silver SUV, drove up to the victims and started shooting.
Two men and one woman were struck, police said. All three were taken to local hospitals with multiple gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead.
The shooters fled east in the silver SUV, officials said.
No one is in custody, and police are investigating.
