CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Chicago police are warning Northwest Side car repair shops to be watchful for possible burglaries.
Police said that early morning, five auto body shops were broken into in Belmont-Cragin, Logan Square and Humboldt Park.
The break-ins happened between midnight and 4:30 a.m. The thieves would bust into the businesses by raising the overhead doors or even breaking through the overhead doors with a car. Then keys, cash and diagnostic equipment was stolen.
Police said the three suspects all wore black clothing and ski masks.
