CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A food delivery driver is fighting for his life after being shot overnight in Englewood on Chicago's South Side.
The delivery man was trying to drop off some food near 68th and Racine at about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday when, Chicago police said, he got into an argument with a man or young man.
Then, police said someone shot him in the head.
The 49-year-old driver was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
No one is in custody.
Shootings in the Seventh District are down this year by 22 percent, according to Chicago police statistics.
