
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Former Mayor Lori Lightfoot will be going to school after this summer to teach.
The former mayor will be teaching a course next fall at Harvard. She’s been named a senior leadership fellow and will teach a course titled Health Policy and Leadership.
She will share specifics about how her administration managed the COVID-19 pandemic in the city. She also said she’ll delve into how her administration approached the pandemic as a way to deal with long time public health inequities.
“I’ve always loved teaching, and the opportunity to get back to it is something I am really excited about I," Lightfoot said in a statement.
"I learned a lot over the past four years, and this gives me an opportunity to share my experiences and perceptions of governing through one of the most challenging chapters in American history."
